Rankin King Farm

Preserving a part of the past was the owner’s desire for ESPA in developing plans for an affordable forty-four unit elderly housing complex consisting of one- and two-bedroom units that would complement the existing craftsman-style farmhouse on the property. The farmhouse became the central building of Rankin King Farm by salvaging the old farm house and reconfiguring the interior so that it could be used as the complex’s community building with offices and laundry areas. The exterior of the apartments incorporated craftsman design elements as well as incorporating Energy Star® requirements regarding construction and selection of appliances.
